    PUNCAK - In a heartwarming tribute to collaboration and gratitude, the Raider Infantry Battalion 323/Buaya Putih Kostrad celebrated its 74th anniversary alongside the residents of Nipuralome Village, Ilaga District, Papua Tengah. This joint Thanksgiving Service, held on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the Ilaga Kingmi Ebenetzar Church, was a poignant symbol of the unity between the Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI) and the local community.

    Organized by the Eromaga Post, led by First Lieutenant Yusup, the event showcased the power of Social Communication (Komsos) as a bridge between the TNI and local residents. Through ongoing dialogue and cooperation with community and religious leaders, the idea of a joint celebration took root and became a meaningful reality.

    A Day of Reverence and Togetherness
    With meticulous planning and a shared sense of purpose, soldiers and villagers gathered to participate in the solemn Thanksgiving Service. While security remained a priority, the focus of the day was on fostering connections and celebrating milestones together.

    Mr. Mora Telenggen, a prominent community figure, expressed heartfelt gratitude during the event. “Thank you, Commander 323. I am happy that the unit’s anniversary is celebrated jointly with the community. God bless, ” he shared, highlighting the deep appreciation of the Nipuralome residents.

    Bridging Hearts Through Service
    Lieutenant Colonel Tri Wiratno, Commander of Task Forces 323, underlined the significance of Komsos in building trust and solidarity. “This celebration is not just about marking an anniversary. It is about strengthening bonds, understanding each other’s needs, and growing together, ” he said.

    The event drew accolades from Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, Commanding General of HABEMA, who commended the 323 Task Forces for their inclusive approach. “The 323 Task Forces’ initiative to celebrate with the community reflects the TNI’s commitment to fostering unity and accelerating progress in Papua. This is how we move forward together, ” he remarked.
