PUNCAK - Demonstrating a heartfelt commitment to the welfare of Papua, the Raider Infantry Battalion 323/Buaya Putih Kostrad Task Force, operating under the Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command HABEMA, carried out a meaningful distribution of free basic necessities to the residents of Aminggaru Village, Omukia District, Puncak Regency, on Wednesday, December 25, 2024.
Led by First Lieutenant Anggun of the Eromaga Post, the initiative aimed to foster stronger bonds with the local community while addressing their fundamental needs. Since its deployment in Papua, the Task Force has consistently embraced a dual-purpose mission: ensuring security while engaging in Territorial activities to uplift local residents' welfare.
The visit to Aminggaru Village was filled with warm interactions as the Soldiers connected with residents through dialogue and acts of kindness. The highlight of the day was the distribution of free packages containing essential goods, symbolizing the spirit of sharing and solidarity. The gesture was met with joyous smiles and heartfelt gratitude from the community.
Rio Labene, a resident and recipient, expressed his appreciation: "Thank you, Commander 323. God bless you."
The Commander of the 323 Task Force, LtCol Tri Wiratno, emphasized the importance of prioritizing the well-being of the surrounding communities as part of their mission. "Our duty extends beyond security. We are here to make a tangible difference in the lives of the people we serve, " he stated.
Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, the HABEMA Commanding General, praised the efforts of the Task Force.
